Project thermostat: got some time to work on it this afternoon, and its starting to come alive

OK, early I wrote about my gas fireplace and its sad lack of automation/IP. The fireplace should be simple, you just have to short-circuit the connection across the thermopile.

Well, it sat on the pile of “that would be easy and fun” for quite a while. But today I managed to scrape together 3 hours, and made some progress. Check it out below.
